This is probably the fourth version of Tenel Ka's magical rancor tooth lightsaber I have around the house, hehe. I made two a long time ago with PVC, spraypaint, etc. Then I ordered one from Nocturne Armory. I was up to three! For Dragon*Con 2010 I wanted to have a lightsaber with a bright turquoise/blue blade and a friend told me about ultrasabers.com~! <3

I ordered one of their basic models (with the bright blueish-greenish blade) and took to it with paperclay, blue swarovski gems (she has an orange one in some of the art but the blue blade plus the orange stone made me think of high school and my HS colors, haha XD -- so I stuck with blue) and five different colors of paint.

I had to make it so that I could get to the batteries in the bottom as well, which is why the part of the tooth on the bottom has a ridge. That way I can pull it out when the batteries die and replace them. :D

I love this its great to see a lightsaber made with unorthodox material especially for one from such an amazing in universe character. I hope to be building a lightwhip for a Dathomir witch possibly dark sister and Tenel Ka's blade honouring her Dathomir heritage inspired me with ideas of a wooden handle. I hope it turns out as well as this.

Whoooaaaa!! This is awesome! :D You're so lucky to have 3 versions of Tenel Ka's lightsaber, especially since two of them are ones you made! I'll have to check out ultrasabers.com now. ^^

Great job with this! The rancor tooth's detail is very realistic!

ultrasabers.com is so addicting and their prices are amaaaaaaazing for the quality of product you get. You'll definitely have to check them out when you get the chance! ^_^

And thank you very much~! :3 I had no real plan going into this when it came to painting and adding the details, so I tried to make it look kind of like the pictures they shown of her lightsaber, haha~ XD I knew it wouldn't look exactly like hers though since it's so much longer cause of the electronics. It was an adventure to make though, definitely! XDDD

I was looking through ultrasabers.com, and there's so much to choose from! It's impressive, and the quality of their work does seem pretty nice, so thanks for posting that! ^_^ I really hope to get my own lightsaber very soon! The only problem is deciding which one to choose...

Well it came out really nicely! I even showed my boyfriend, since I've been getting him more into the Star Wars EU lately. :D I'm sure it was a lot of fun to make!
